European Relocation

For many years due to customer demand Matthew James has been relocating clients abroad. Moving abroad is not as straight forward as a local move so to go over your individual requirements we would recommend that one of our estimators visits you for a FREE no-obligation quote.

Our estimator will explain and advise on our numbering and inventory system, access, insurance, customs and any other queries. Unlike a majority of our competitors we will endeavour to meet your required date ( obviously this can vary slightly due to customs or an unavoidable delay ). We only use full time staff who are experienced in driving and working on the continent.

All furniture going abroad is export wrapped

All furniture is export wrapped in your home by our own fully trained uniformed staff utilizing specialist packing materials provided by us free of charge. A full inventory of your effects will be taken prior to shipment with each item being individually numbered and labelled ensuring you receive all of your effects at your new residence abroad.

Part loads and dedicated loads

We can offer you two services:

  1. Part load
    Most of our clients take this service. Your goods will be delivered on a part load basis. As we depart the UK weekly we can normally meet your required date or deliver very close to that date.
    A part load is more cost effective than a dedicated load. Matthew James: a partload example.
  2. Dedicated load
    A dedicated load is for your goods only. No other customers are on the vehicle, you would be paying for unused space. You may find a dedicated load fits into your busy schedule as you can request your dedicated dates.
