Knights of the Road

At the beginning of December, we were contacted by Jess Hill from DKV, who had a favour to ask.

DKV are the supplier of fuel cards for the European contingent of Matthew James Global Relocations, and we have a long and trusted working partnership with them.

Jess wanted some advice on how she should safely package the iPads for the entire UK team, as they were being returned to DKV’s Head Office in Ratingen, Germany. Jess enquired whether we had suitable materials available as she was concerned that they may have been damaged in transit.

We will never leave a damsel in distress and due to the significant reach that our company has across Europe, it was safe to say that we would have a vehicle in the required area within the coming weeks. We therefore offered to hand deliver all of the equipment, free of charge.

Jess knew that the items would be in exceptionally safe hands and arrive not only damage-free, but ahead of schedule.  The items were dropped at our Head Office, where we carefully packed them in readiness for their onward journey.

Our super reliable crew members, Shane Wayland and Laurence Davis, safely delivered the items to a very appreciative German office.

Jess was thrilled and said:

My first thought was Matthew James, who are always very helpful. I initially asked if they could provide me with some packaging to make sure my iPad would not get damaged when sending via Royal Mail. However, Matthew James had a job going nearby and took them all for us!

At Matthew James Global Relocations, we always go the extra mile to provide an outstanding service.
