EUROPEAN SHARED LOAD
A part/shared load service is a cost effective way to move your goods to and from your destination. The reason this service is so cost effective is that you share the vehicle with other consignments and therefore the vehicle costs are also shared. All consignments are individually prepared, numbered, labelled and inventoried to ensure all items are correctly delivered to you. The main advantage of a part load service is that you will receive the Matthew James service of excellence at the most cost effective price.

The city’s main attraction is its professional opportunities, that attract ambition and innovation the world over. All of this industry means jobs are well paid, and the standard of living is high. Banking is a major employer in the city, and Frankfurt is the economic powerhouse of Germany, and is up there with Paris and London as a major banking centre of Europe. The city houses over 400 banks and financial institutions from Deutsche Bank to J.P. Morgan. Along with Banking, Aviation and Law are also thriving industries in the city. Before making the move, it is important to be well qualified if you are going to find a job that suits your needs. Most expats are relocated from companies they have worked for previously, or to company they have been headhunted for. So the atmosphere is competitive.
As most people move to Frankfurt for a specified period time, renting properties is the most common accommodation in the city. Obviously, the farther away from the the city centre you go, the cheaper accommodation will be. There are two main sources of rent available in Germany, “cold” and “warm,” renting. Essentially, your bills included or not. Most landlords will require 2 – 3 months rent as a deposit, and it is advisable to get in writing that they have kept this deposit in a separate account from the monthly rent. It is worth noting that most contracts will not have a specific end date, and tenants will have to provide 3 months notice if they wish to terminate this.
But the first comes the fun bit, actually finding a place in Frankfurt to live! And you are spoilt for choice. Young and trendy areas include Bornheim and Sachsenhausen, whilst family-friendly districts include Kronberg (particularly good for international schools) and Nordend, with its strong sense of community.
These places all have great links to Frankfurt’s attractions. Kids will want to go to the great city zoo, which houses over 3000 species of animals from across the world. Cultural types can visit the Städel Gallery, and the Botanical Garden and all are welcome at the city’s many festivals from Fasching (basically Made Gras) that happens every February at one of the largest and most important Christmas markets in Germany.
